The Journey as of today

Psalm 5:3
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
Meg’s mental to do list
1) Find a mission Organization that will send me to Velky Krtis (looking into two options now)
2) Get a backing church
3) Start the Visa process
4) Fundraising (Looks like I’m going to need $1,000.00 a month)
5) add things to this list as they come up (I know they will)
6) Pack up and get the heck out of doge!
What has gone down thus far
After coming home I (almost) immediately setup two meetings. One with two Very important friends of mine who are also my prayer warriors. Johnny and Aleta were gracious enough to sit down at coffee and listen to me share about SK for a few hours. Also I have them on board as my first prayer supporters! After talking with them I was ready to jump on the plane and convert the entire country just before becoming a martyr for Christ… haha, all that to say the meeting was very encouraging to me.
The other meeting I had was with the Global Outreach Director at Grace Community Church. Her name is Debi and though she is one of the nicest people on the planet she is no softy. I thought I was going to sell SK and myself to her, but God in all his majesty got to her heart before I did. She was excited and open to me going to SK fulltime (though she is really sad to loose me here at Grace) There are some things I need to get done (Get ESL citified and find a backing mission org) before Grace will commit to being my backing church. Also at the moment we are in a finical crunch at Grace so she is not sure if they will be able to give me monthly support. But it is 99.9% sure that if I do the things she asks that Grace will send me. YAY!
Also a huge thing that warms my heart is Grace has a policy to send workers where their missionaries live. Do you know what that means? Workers to the field! A relationship to establish! Awareness! That is huge. Praise God!
Where God has me waiting
I have an email in to the Director in IN Network Slovakia (International Needs is the mission org I use for the summer trips) to get info on the application process. I have not heard back and I’m trying to be patient.
I also have an email into a missionary that works with Josiah Venture asking him if he would meet with me to go over their organization with me and the “how to’s” of moving to Eastern Europe. I also have not heard back from him.
As I have mentioned before I am task driven and I don’t do such a great job at waiting. I can’t really move onto completing my “to do” list until I get #1 checked off. God is good and his timing is just as good… Lord I believe, help me with my unbelief!
Prayer Request
That God will move along the process and my season of waiting will soon come to an end. Also that I will be content waiting as long as he would keep me here.
That I will find the right Mission Organization to go with.
That God will provide me with the monthly support I need.
Thank you all and God Bless!

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philippians 4:6-7 (message)
