I got this letter the other day as I was sick in my bed with Strep. I was feeling a bit down... and I was a little tired of being alone when I read this from my iPhone.
Good Morning Dear One:
I'm doing a bible study at SBC called "Business by the Book"--just started it and was sitting in my kitchen window with my coffee and beginning the study. I wanted to read different versions of the verse I'm to memorize, 2 Timothy 3:16,17, so I went to my little library and pulled out different copies of my Bible. I collect them whenever I see them at a thrift store, garage sale, etc., cause I love to read different interpretations of the same verse--sometimes it helps me understand more clearly what a verse is saying.
Anyway, I pulled out a New American Standard that had Scottsdale Bible Church imprinted on the cover--figured my son picked it up somewhere and it ended up in my collection. When I was fanning through the pages, the last page caught my eye--written in pencil was this note: "you need to read John and read with the right heart! Meghan Johnson"
that was the only writing in it, so God brought you to my heart this morning, and I'm praying that things are going well for you over there and that God is blessing your ministry and keeping you peaceful, joyful and using you for His Glory!!

Amazing the tools God will use for our "pick-me-ups" He will even use something I wrote years ago trying to help others aa an encouragement for me.
